Strip lashes use glue, which dries unevenly, irritates sensitive eyes, and damages natural lashes when peeled off. Santai uses a magnetic liner + magnetic band system — the band clicks onto the dried liner. No tugging, no residue, no commitment. No. Santai lashes are magnet-only — no glue, no pulling, no tugging on your real lashes. The magnetic liner sits on your lash line (like eyeliner), and the lash band attaches to the dried liner — not to your lashes. Removal is a clean lift. Your natural lashes stay yours.

Yes. Our lashes are made from hypoallergenic synthetic mink-effect fibre, and the magnetic liner is dermatologically tested and free from latex, formaldehyde, and harsh adhesives. Many of our customers wear contact lenses or have previously reacted to glue-on strip lashes — and report no irritation with Santai. Yes — and we built specific styles for monolids. Inbox and Minutes have flatter bands designed to sit on monolid and inner-double-lid eyes without lifting at the corners (a common complaint with strip lashes designed for double-lid Western eyes). Yes. Our Natural and Light makeup styles (Inbox, Minutes, Kickoff) are short enough to sit comfortably under glasses without touching the lenses. Heavy makeup styles like Afterhours may brush the lens — try the lighter styles if you wear glasses daily.

Absolutely. Hypoallergenic synthetic fibre, no glue near the eye, no irritation reported by contact wearers. Apply your contacts first, then your lashes — same order as you would with mascara. Many of our customers wear soft lenses, monthly disposables, or hard lenses without issue.

Yes — apply your eyeshadow, eyeliner (regular, not magnetic), and concealer before the magnetic lashes. The lashes go on last. Avoid applying mascara directly onto the magnetic band itself — it clogs the fibre and shortens the lash's lifespan. If you want more lash drama, layer mascara on your natural lashes only, then add the magnetic band on top.

This is the most common first-timer issue. Two fixes:
Most likely: you placed the band too low. Lift, raise 1mm closer to the lash line, and the magnets will re-seat themselves.
Alternative: the magnetic liner may not have fully dried. Wait 30 seconds after applying liner before placing the lash.

Slide a fingertip along the band from the outer corner inward. The whole lash lifts off in one piece. No tugging, no pulling. Remove the magnetic liner the same way you remove eyeliner — gentle micellar water or oil-free cleanser.

Up to 30 wears per pair when cared for properly. With our magnet-safe cleanser and flat storage, customers report 3–12 months of regular wear depending on frequency. Daily wearers typically replace every 3–4 months; occasion wearers stretch to 12+ months per pair.

After each wear, wipe the band gently with the included care brush — no water, no soap, no makeup remover near the magnets. If you've worn mascara that day, use our Pure Ritual magnet-safe lash cleanser (available as an accessory). Store the lashes flat in their original compact between wears.

Technically yes — they won't fall off and they're hypoallergenic. But we don't recommend it. Sleeping bends the band against your pillow, which can warp the curve over time. For longest lash life, take them off at the end of the night.

Replace when: the band starts to bow or lose its curve, the fibres clump or thin visibly, or the magnets feel weaker. Most pairs hit 30 wears before any of this happens — but if you're rough on them, it might come sooner.

14-day no-questions returns on unopened sets. If you've opened them and they don't fit your eye shape, message us — we'll match you with a different style on the house. Returns are free of charge within Malaysia; we cover the return postage.

Email hello@santai-cosmetics.com with your order number and a photo of the issue within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement on the next business day — no need to return the damaged item.

If your order hasn't shipped yet, yes — email us within 2 hours of placing the order. Once it's with the courier, we can't recall it, but you can return it once it arrives (free of charge within Malaysia).
